NIC developed the NSPZR series of radial leaded capacitors to meet the needs of next-generation low-voltage high-current onboard regulation applications. The new solid polymer electrolytic devices are ideal for such applications thanks to their ultra-low ESR and high ripple current ratings. The NSPZR series is available with capacitance values ranging from 180 to 820uF and voltage ratings of 4 to 16V DC.

NIC has designed the capacitors to have lead-free and PVC-free construction, thus reducing their impact on the environment.

NSPZR capacitors are housed in nylon laminated aluminium cases in sizes that range from 8 x 11.5 to 10 x 12.5mm.

They have a specified operating temperature range of -55 to +105C.

This new series compliments NIC's already extensive range of surface mount and leaded low ESR capacitors available from Logic Electronic Components.
