Polished performance from space-saving fuses
Applications of Wickmann's popular space-saving TR5 and TE5 ranges of subminiature fuses have been broadened by the introduction of series with enhanced performance.
Applications of Wickmann's popular space-saving TR5 and TE5 ranges of subminiature fuses have been broadened by the introduction of series with enhanced performance.
Ideal for protecting a wide variety of equipment including telecomms, data processing, medical, I/O modules, power supplies and domestic appliances, the 382, 384 and 392 series time-lag fuses reduce footprint area by around 70% compared to glass cartridge fuses.
The 382 series benefits from improved short-circuit performance (100A breaking capacity at 250V) and lower manufacturing costs.
Lead-free, the 384 series fuses have a breaking capacity of 150A and higher temperature performance to accommodate new lead-free soldering processes.
Both these round-section series are in the TR5 range.
The rectangular 392 series fuses (TE5 range) have current ratings of 1.0 to 4.0A and are suitable for applications up to 250V.
All the fuses in the Wickmann TR5/TE5 ranges are halogen free and feature low internal resistance and high vibration resistance.
Available in both directly solderable and plug-in versions, they are suitable for mounting in Wickmann surface-mount or through hole sockets, through-hole circuit insertion or the pin-in-paste surface mount process.
Body material is robust thermoplastic polyamide.
