The Wickmann 424/425 system allows quick and easy replacement of fuses on circuit boards without the need for soldering.
The system will speed fuse replacement and will be especially valuable for equipment located in remote areas.
The 424 fuseholder system is supplied fitted with Wickmann 419 fast-acting SM fuses whereas the 425 system contains Wickmann 420 time-lag fuses.
Both fuses are 6125 size, wire-element ceramic.
Optimised for line or low-voltage applications, the fuses are ideal for protecting items such as telecomms and data processing equipment, handheld devices and recording and measuring instruments.
The fuses in the holders are rated up to 125V at currents from 62mA to 7A.
Voltage drop ranges from 100 to 1600mV and power dissipation from 85 to1200mW, depending on fuse current rating.
Solderability is 235C for 2s, and soldering heat resistance 260C for 10s, or 280C for 5s.
Operating temperature range is -55 to +125C.
The holders and fuses are supplied in 16mm blister tape, with 1500 pieces on a 380mm-diameter reel.
The holder plastic meets UL94V0, and the terminals are copper alloy, nickel and tin plated, lead free.
