LISATek has joined the Synopsys in-Sync programme and has created an integrated design flow between its products and the CoCentric System Studio. LISATek's products - Edge Processor Designer, Rim Software Designer, and Hub System Integrator - comprise a complete system for architectural exploration and design of embedded processors for SoCs. "Design tool interoperability is an increasingly critical requirement for system-on-a-chip design", said Karen Bartleson, director of Quality and Interoperability at Synopsys.
"Synopsys' in-Sync programme facilitates interoperability and helps our customers meet their stringent design flow requirements".
According to LISATek president Uri Mayer, "With this new, integrated flow, customers can plug LISATek processor models and Edge-created simulators into CoCentric System Studio and run high-speed hardware/software coverification on their SystemC platform model.
Now, for the first time, they can easily explore overall system performance and modify the embedded processor during SoC design".
LISATek's unified product suite, version 2002.2, is available now worldwide for Solaris 2.7 and 2.8, Linux, and Windows NT/2000 platforms.
