Wide bandwidth for
fibre-optic data amplifier
New from Link Microtek is the DBFO-WB-18 broadband fibre-optic data amplifier, which features a wide bandwidth of 30kHz to 18GHz
Manufactured by Narda Microwave West, the new amplifier has been specifically developed for next-generation 10Gbit/s and half-rate 40Gbit/s fibre-optic telecommunications applications. Fabricated using rugged military-grade thin-film GaAs FET amplifier modules, the device delivers a small-signal RF gain of typically 23dB, a saturated output power of 24dBm(rms) and a 10.5V peak-to-peak output.
