Building on the successful management buyout in October this year, LapiStor has made a number of significant new appointments

Gary Kellett has recently joined the company as Financial Controller. Kellett (46) has more than 20 years experience as an accountant and financial controller - with most of that time spent in the engineering industry. Kellett and his wife, Lesley, live in Wibsey, Bradford. As a qualified football referee for the past 23 years - and now an Assistant Referee in the Premier League - Kellett says one of his main hobbies is watching his sons, Chris and Matthew, playing football and cricket.

Florian Hennies has been appointed Storage Product Manager, with international responsibilities.

Hennies (27) was born in Germany and has extensive international business experience, having worked for a number of companies including Bosch and Transtec.

He has an MBA from Reutlingen University in Germany and speaks a number of European languages.

A former YMCA Group Leader, his hobbies include skiing, riding, surfing and reading.

Announcing these appointments, Managing Director, Tony Howard, said: 'We are forecasting that company turnover will increase significantly in 2006 and these appointments are a key part of our strategy in order to achieve that growth'.

'We plan to strengthen our management team further, based on a number of significant design wins in new markets'.

'For LapiStor, the outlook is very encouraging, with leading market analysts agreed in issuing strong growth forecasts for our sector of the storage market'.

'We are well-placed to satisfy the rapidly rising demand for SATA-II technology and expect to reap the rewards of recent investments in technical pre and post sales support'.
