Jungo Software Technologies has released version 7.02 of its WinDriver USB/PCI and WinDriver USB Device driver development toolkits

Jungo Software Technologies has released version 7.02 of its WinDriver USB/PCI driver development toolkit for cross operating system and multiple architecture host driver development, and WinDriver USB Device for USB firmware code generation. The new release supports the Microchip PIC18F4550 development board and includes automated firmware and driver code generation.

The enhanced support is the result of a recent collaboration between Microchip and Jungo to provide custom software solutions for Microchip PIC microcontroller USB family.

WinDriver 7.02 also includes support for the latest Linux kernels up to 2.6.13, for both 32 and 64bit architectures, and a new option to define an interrupt mask in the kernel-mode interrupt transfer commands for PCI based devices.

Jungo customers with a valid support subscription are entitled to upgrade to v7.02 free of charge.

Jungo offers a free, full-featured, 30 day evaluation version of WinDriver USB/PCI for host driver development and WinDriver USB Device for firmware code generation.
