IndigoVision has set up a partner programme designed to continue the growth of its VideoBridge technology as the worldwide de facto industry standard in video security and surveillance.
With 95% of the video security and surveillance industry still using analogue video cameras, IndigoVision's partner programme is designed to help the worldwide CCTV and video surveillance and monitoring industry make the transition from analogue to digital product solutions.
This market is estimated to be worth approximately $5 billion over the next few years.
IndigoVision's new partner programme is designed to provide the necessary expertise, tactical tools and support system to enable established CCTV and surveillance industry integrators, manufacturers and distributors to make the move to networked digital video.
In the programme, the company will provide partners with access to superior products, a fast track to market and a complete package of support services including training and technical consultancy.
"The move from analogue to digital based video solutions is perhaps the biggest revolution in the industry since the invention of video itself", commented Sergio Tansini, IndigoVision COO.
"IndigoVision is the market leader providing the technology that helps CCTV and surveillance industry make that change.
Using our VideoBridge technology, we are working with a rapidly growing list of leading players in the market who have spotted the huge and immediate potential of video over IP to increase revenue and profit from existing and new business in the security and surveillance market.
It's a heck of an exciting challenge.
Our aim is to provide a service that enables many more players to make the move to this immensely growing market quickly and effectively.
Already, we have licensed our technology to major CCTV and surveillance industry players such as Videology, Baxall, Ultrak, COE, Panasonic and semiconductor partners such as Cirrus Logic".
In the partner programme, members will have access to resources to help them integrate, market and support VideoBridge in their products.
"It's a digital revolution", Sergio added, "there are 25 million analogue CCTV cameras in the word today and IndigoVision is driving the digital migration".
As well as distributing a range of software and hardware products through its channel partners, IndigoVision's VideoBridge technology is provided in hardware, PCB and design license formats, to allow the industry to create mutually compatible, yet original own-brand products without high development costs or lengthy time-to-market.
"Without doubt video streaming over a network is going to become as common place as closed circuit television systems", said IndigoVision partner, Greg Painter, managing director, KM Video, USA.
