Interactive Products Corp has ported its IFS Pro high-speed-design signal integrity tool suite to the Apple Platform (latest Mac OSX Java 1.4.2.x). By already supporting Linux, Windows and Sun (in addition to other Unix-based operating systems), this provides the EDA user community a full range of platform choices and now takes advantage of Apple's enhanced graphics Java environment. IFS Pro inputs consist of three niche modules (EZ Stack, EZ Geo and DXF In).

IFS Pro outputs portable Spice models, electromagnetic reports, Spice time simulation, frequency simulation and eye patterns.

Unlike tools from other vendors, IFS Pro very accurately supports low- to high-speed simulation (well into the multiple-gigabit-per-second range) in one single product.

Users do not need to buy an upgrade or another tool for their high-speed simulation needs and at the same time it can complement and integrate with an existing tool suite.

IFS Pro is fully modular, accommodating the ability to easily add modules, as requirements evolve.

Users just buy want they need.

IPC also offers a novel of site and worldwide pricing structure.

This is an "all your company can eat" annual subscription option allowing unlimited number of users either sitewide or worldwide.

IFS Pro has been benchmarked by major chip, connector, PCB and cable manufacturers and proven extremely accurate in all frequency ranges.
