Start with the news release Pathfinder address reliability in nanometer design from Apache Design Solutions, which we summarised at the time by saying "Apache Design Solutions has announced Pathfinder, a full-chip electrostatic discharge (ESD) physical integrity solution to address the reliability challenges faced by nanometer designs. ". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Timing analysis tool addresses speed limitations from Magma Design Automation: "Magma Design Automation has unveiled Tekton, a timing analysis platform that is claimed to offer higher capacity and faster runtimes than traditional tools, without sacrificing accuracy. ".
In March 2010, we covered the news from Magma Design Automation - take a look at Magma introduces Fast Monte Carlo analysis which says: "Magma Design Automation has announced the availability of Finesim Fast Monte Carlo, an alternative to traditional Monte Carlo analysis. ".
Take a look also at the news release from Synopsys, CPU achieves silicon success with Customsim, as well as 0.18um PDKs for Tanner Tools Pro released on X-Tic from EDA Solutions, and Cadence printed circuit board has new features from Cadence Design Systems.
