As an EDA industry first, Interactive Products Corp has de-embedded the batch mode electromagnetic field solver from its IFS Pro high-speed-design signal integrity tool suite.

As an EDA industry first, Interactive Products Corp (IPC) has de-embedded the batch mode electromagnetic field solver from its IFS Pro high-speed-design signal integrity tool suite. This provides the user the ability to integrate high-speed signal integrity functionality into an existing design, test and simulation environment using customised interfaces enabling users to run as many simulations as necessary. IFS Pro outputs portable Spice models, electromagnetic reports, Spice time simulation, Frequency simulation and eye patterns.

By de-embedding the field solver, this release also allows the user to perform parametric modelling, providing users with the ability to run thousands of models automatically through a single input file (eg Matlab).
Unlike tools from other vendors, IFS Pro very accurately supports low to high-speed simulation (well into many gigabit per second range) in one single product.
There is no need to buy an upgrade or another tool for high-speed simulation needs and at the same time it can complement and integrate with an existing tool suite.
IFS Pro has been benchmarked by major chip, connector, PCB and cable manufacturers and has proven extremely accurate in all frequency ranges.
