Ideal Power has unveiled its new CPH Series of ultra-high-power half-brick modules with Sink-Plate technology, designed to enhance its derating performance. The CPH module was designed by applying patented buck-reset topology with the single-board, single-component side structure for high efficiency and high power density for the server computing and datacommunications fields. The CPH Series offers maximum 100A delivered current, 90% conversion efficiency, a 2.0kV DC isolation rating between primary and secondary, an output-voltage trim facility that enables the output to be adjusted between 90 and 110% of nominal, and efficiency to cross 36 to 75V input range.
The Sink-Plate technology helps the module operate under extreme environments to deliver high power with an integrated heatsink, but retains the capability for mounting to external cooling assemblies such as heatsinks, heat pipes or chassis backplanes.
The CPS Series is designed to meet international safety standards, including EN60950 and CSA/UL60950, providing full protection functions such as overvoltage and overtemperature protection and input undervoltage lockout.
