‘Undervoltage’
An Electronicstalk guide
Start with the news release Current mode controllers for military applications from Linear Technology, which we summarised at the time by saying "Military-temperature-grade versions of the LTC3803/-3/-5 current mode flyback controllers are available in a six-pin ThinSOT package for industrial, telecom, military and automotive applications.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release DC/DC converter for inverting power supply apps from Linear Technology: "Linear Technology has announced the LT3957, a DC/DC converter for boost, flyback, SEPIC and inverting power supply applications.".
In November 2010, we covered the news from Linear Technology - take a look at DC/DC converter suits apps with automotive inputs which says: "Linear Technology's LT3579, a current-mode, fixed-frequency step-up DC/DC converter is suitable for applications with input sources ranging from a single-cell Li-Ion to automotive inputs.".
Take a look also at the news release from Linear Technology, DC/DC converter suits local power supply designs, as well as LED driver ICs optimise images in backlit LCD TVs from Austriamicrosystems, and Linear battery charger for Bluetooth headsets from Maxim Integrated Products.
