Anixter launches compact modular gland plates

Anixter Component Solutions, a distributor of cable management and fastener solutions, has launched a range of modular gland plates suitable for discrete and aesthetic installations.

The modular gland plates, which offer versatility when sealing multiple cables, are flange systems with sealing inserts that can be changed depending on the user's needs.

Users are no longer required to use fixed flanges with a certain number of predetermined openings.

They can decide what size openings and how many they want in their flanges.

Users can also choose what level of protection they want to have.

The modular gland plates are compact and simple to install, according to the company; the user simply puts the inserts together, places them in the frame and installs them.

The inserts lock on to each other as well as to the frame, ensuring a safe and secure installation.

Fibreglass-reinforced polypropylene is used for the frame and the inserts, ensuring a rigid structure.

The soft TPE lets Anixter incorporate push-out membrane seals with sealing properties.

The two materials, together with the company's patented system, make it possible to have a flange system with a slim design.

The modular gland plates have low protrusion and will take up very little space.

Users can even have cable anchorage on their cables by using Anixter's click-fit seals and the installation will take up a minimum of space.

The modular gland plates are available in a range of popular sizes.
