A new coaxial connector module from Harting is ideally suited to meeting the increasing demands of the rail industry for the transmission of audio and video signals for passenger information and in-train entertainment. The new module, part of the Han-Modular range of heavy-duty industrial, connectors, makes it possible to integrate the coaxial cable interface and any other power or signal connections into a single connector housing, making installation and coupling between carriages simple and straightforward.

Each module houses two Han-Coax contacts.

The new coaxial connector is suitable for 50 and 75ohm transmission.

It features two-part shielded bushing, and is designed for use with coaxial cables between 3 and 9.5mm in diameter.

Crimp termination technology provides fast and easy assembly, and strain relief is built in.
