"We are extremely pleased to have been selected by Ford to provide the C compiler and simulator for the new line of Jaguars", said Christopher Smith, Director of Marketing, European Operations at Green Hills Software.
"Green Hills' optimising compilers are ideal for developing fast, compact code that takes full advantage of the PowerPC MPC509.
We're excited to see our compilers play a role in making the Jaguar S-Type one of the finest luxury cars on the road".
Green Hills offers the industry's most advanced MPC509 C/C++ optimising compiler and instruction set simulator.
The scaleable C/C++ compiler lets programmers use switch options to select any subset of C++ they want, from bare bones C, to full-blown ANSI/ISO C++.
The compiler also supports Embedded C++ (EC++), a dialect of C++ optimised for resource-constrained embedded applications that achieves the efficiency of C while preserving many of the best object-oriented features of C++.
Green Hills' instruction set simulator simplifies the development process by enabling programmers to develop and test their MPC509 code on a PC or workstation without the need for the target hardware. Request free introductory details about products from Green Hills Software....
