Dual PLL has
wireless LAN standards covered
The Fujitsu MB15F76UL is a novel low-power PLL (phase locked loop) solution for wireless LANs
The dual-frequency synthesiser (IF+RF) is suited to every WLAN standard, particularly IEEE802.11a+b, with RF operating frequencies ranging from 2 to 6GHz. With the market demands for ever-decreasing power consumption in PLLs, this new product features a typical supply current consumption of 6.2mA at 3V in RF range, with a supply voltage range of 2.7 to 3.6V.

Automotive MCU boasts six lines of CAN
The MB91F467BA is specifically designed for integrating several in-vehicle Control Area Networks or for controlling CAN, LIN and FlexRay mixed network gateways
This allows the MB15F76UL to provide maximum operation times even at a high operation frequency without degrading the performance.
In addition, the charge pump output current is programmable between 1.5 and 6mA, and the device features low phase noise and fast lockup.
Housed in the ultra-small 20-pin BCC (bump chip carrier) package measuring just 3.4 x 3.6 x 0.55mm, the MB15F76UL offers a 30% reduction in chip size in comparison with the previous generation.
In order to aid system design Fujitsu is also offering development kits with the device.
