Oscillator halves the
length of its peers
Fox Electronics now offers a temperature-compensated voltage-controlled crystal oscillator that measures only 3.2 x 2.5 x 1.2mm - half the length of previous oscillator models
Fox Electronics now offers a temperature-compensated voltage-controlled crystal oscillator (TCVCXO) that measures only 3.2 x 2.5 x 1.2mm - half the length of previous oscillator models. The significantly reduced footprint and extremely competitive pricing of the new FOX923E makes the oscillator ideal for applications where size and cost are critical, such as in the portable, handheld, and wireless markets.

The frequency range of the FOX923E is 13 to 26MHz, with a supply voltage range of 2.85 to 3.15V and an initial frequency tolerance of -0.5 to +0.5ppm at 25C +/-2C.
Standard operating temperature is -20 to +75C.
The new TCVCXO's frequency stability is -2.5 to +2.5ppm over the temperature range and -0.2 to +0.2ppm over the supply voltage change of 3.0V +/-5%.
Pullability is +/-5 to +/-15ppm at a control voltage of 1.5 +/-1.0V and input current is 2.0mA at 3.0V at 25C.
Pricing for the new FOX923E with a stability of +/- 2.5ppm and a frequency of 26MHz starts at $1.99 per unit in quantities of 10,000.
Delivery is 8 weeks ARO.
