DMM combines with logging software to save money
A new money-saving combo kit combines a top-of-the-range true-RMS digital multimeter with powerful software designed to log, store and analyse data.
Fluke has introduced a new kit comprising its top-of-the-range true-RMS digital multimeter and powerful software designed to log, store and analyse data.
Capable of capturing data from up to 3 days of continuous stand-alone logging, the meter with software is an ideal package for maintenance engineers.
The bundled kit represents a 16% saving.
The Fluke 189/FlukeView combo kit comprises the top-of-the-range, true-RMS 189 digital multimeter and FlukeView Forms software.
The top performance of the 189 is based on extremely fast readings, extended ranges, 100kHz bandwidth and 0.025% basic DC accuracy.
It has the ability to log stand-alone measurement changes with time stamp at any designated intervals for up to three days.
It has CAT III 1000V/CAT IV 600V safety approval and a lifetime warranty.
All this and features like a 50,000 count, high-contrast, multiple readings display with bargraph and two-level backlight; display hold and touch hold, and min-max-average recording with time stamp; and temperature and decibel measurements, satisfy even the most demanding users.
The FlukeView Forms documentation and analysis software gives users the power to easily and quickly view measurement results on a PC in chart and graphical formats.
This can be in real-time or based on stand-alone logged data.
Additionally, it allows users to create customised forms and reports in order to document and archive test procedures and results, a capability that provides new levels of troubleshooting and problem-solving analysis.
It also enables the monitoring of various processes for use in preventative maintenance schedules.
The package includes an infrared adapter, cable and connector for connection to the 189.
The complete Fluke 189/FlukeView combo kit is available from authorised Fluke distributors until December 2003 at a suggested retail price of just GBP 345, representing a saving of 16% over individual purchases of the products.
