Fujitsu is able to provide communication between POS/Kiosk terminals and exterior devices with its wireless modules product range.

These Bluetooth modules are available in surface-mount or connector-joint types, power class 1 or 2 and with or without integrated antenna.

The Bluetooth modules have been designed based on the CSR Blue Core 4 chip.

Due to the incorporation of the upper-level protocol stacks and serial port profile, (SPP) users can control Bluetooth easily via text-base commands.

Fujitsu Bluetooth modules are said to reduce development time and cost.

To enable, for instance, a wireless connection of a Kiosk terminal with the internet or a local network, Fujitsu provides WLAN modules.

With the WLAN modules, the complete IEEE 802.11 standards are covered.

Fujitsu has modules that support IEEE 802.11 a/b/g, 802.11 b/g and 802.11 b/g/draft-n.

For the best performance, Fujitsu uses ICs from Marvel (88W8686), Ralink (RT 3070) and Atheros (AR6002X).
