Connectors and cables on show in Birmingham
A full range of connector products and cable assemblies will be on show at the forthcoming Mtec Exhibition in Birmingham.
Leading manufacturer of high performance connection solutions Fischer Connectors, will be exhibiting its full range of connector products and cable assemblies on Stand B70 in Hall 11 at the forthcoming Mtec Exhibition to be held at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham on the 14th and 15th of February 2007.
Fischer Connectors offers a comprehensive range of high quality multiway and coaxial connectors for most application areas including a hybrid range combining liquid, gas, fibre and signal contacts.
In addition, its cable-assembly manufacturing service maintains the company's unmatched reputation for managing the most demanding cable-assembly work.
Connectors and assemblies are used in most sectors including industrial instrumentation, controlling and measuring devices, radio, TV and HDTV broadcast, audio-video, telecommunications, extreme environments, aerospace and military applications.
Used on state-of-the-art instrumentation the 4032 Series connector combines high reliability with resistance in harsh environmental conditions (IP68).
Its lightweight plastic body features a safe locking system.
Ideal for use on military equipment the SS and SSC Series short plugs combine compactness and strength for demanding applications requiring space saving high pin density configurations.
Featuring an innovative design and lightweight short body construction they are available sealed to IP68 and beyond.
Fischer Connectors maintains its reputation for innovation in connectors for medical applications with the LUC Series disposable connector.
Featuring modular design, connectors are available in four basic configurations, single-piece backshell for simple designs, overmoulded plug for compact designs and snap-in plug for direct mounting.
A version features a two-piece backshell for easy assembly, or for additional components.
For example, custom electronic circuitry may be designed in to indicate the number of matings remaining in the lifetime of the connector using an LED which illuminates green then red as the number of possible remaining matings declines then exceeds the recommended value.
As a result of production cost savings, the LUC can be regarded as a single-use solution or as a limited-use connector which can sterilised by EtO and gamma methods, conforming with the requirements of the UL/IEC60601 Directives.
Fischer Connectors will have technical representatives at the show who will be pleased to discuss supplying standard and bespoke connectors and cable assembly needs - from design to the logistics of delivering the finished items.
