Tiny TFT boasts full VGA resolution
The FDT050VX2 crams a full VGA resolution colour panel in a 5.0in diagonal package
New from Fiducia, the FDT050VX2 crams a full VGA (640x480) resolution colour panel in a 5.0in diagonal package. Overall dimensions are a mere 91.4 x 119.3 x 7.9mm, making the unit ideal for compact high resolution readouts on a wide variety of designs. 'Most of the time customers have been stuck with QVGA (320x240) resolution screens in this area, making extra work for designers in down-sizing information content and images to such a low resolution screen', comments Nick How, CEO of Fiducia.

Module overcomes OLED limitations
A low-cost 0.87in 104 x 16 mono OLED module offers manufacturers a display to revolutionise small user interfaces
'With a full VGA resolution time is saved in many areas and images made far easier to read and interpret'.
'With the addition of our SFD050VX2-VGA interface card a system is up and running in minutes, saving time and money during the development and evaluation process'.
The SFD050VX2-VGA card mates directly with the 5.0in TFT module and offers direct input for a 15-pin D-type VGA signal.
This allows the module to be turned into a PC monitor instantly with a simple 12V DC input.
The addition of a matching inverter, cables and connectors make this a very straightforward turnkey solution for customers developing products such as security, industrial control and POS systems.
Prices start from just $180 for the display in quantities of 100 pieces.
