Available now from Entrix Computing, the ConnnectPort Display is a 'zero-client' appliance that provides computer display and input/output over IP and remotely connects to a PC or server in a back office or remote location. This can be a virtual server. The ConnectPort Display is maintenance free and has no fan.

The ConnectPort Display is ideal for use in hazardous or sensitive environments where a PC is not appropriate and in kiosk or remote control or display applications.

The M Series differs from the original ConnectPort Display with higher graphics resolution (up to 1600 x 1200 with up to 32bit colour) and higher performance - although true motion video is not fully supported yet, the M Series performance is sufficiently high that near motion video is possible.

In addition, the M Series models have the following audio hardware interfaces: 0.125in stereo headphone (unamplified) output jack; 0.125in mono microphone input jack; and speaker wire jack for amplified (2.5W) output to speakers.

The initial M Series software release does not support audio, but this will be software field upgradeable for units being shipped now.

The models now shipping are the M22 models (North America and International), with two serial ports, two USB ports, and one VGA display connector.

This is the same port configuration as the original ConnectPort Display.

Two additional models will be released soon which will support PS/2 devices. Request a free brochure from Entrix Computing....
