Phasebridge has completed its second round of funding, provided by a consortium of investors led by Clearstone Venture Partners.

Clearstone specialises in venture capital for technology innovators in California.

Phasebridge supplies hybrid integrated optical devices and radio frequency (RF) optical technology and systems.

Expanding applications include aerospace, defence, automotive, biomedical, industrial and telecommunications markets.

William Quigley, Managing Director at Clearstone Venture Partners, notes: "Phasebridge combines an in-depth knowledge of RF optics with practical optical packaging expertise".

"Their unique hybrid technology enables them to integrate multiple optical subcomponents that are precisely aligned in small, compact and ruggedised packages, all without sacrificing the performance achieved by discrete devices".
