eGalax has introduced its first USB touch-screen controller chips that meet the latest RoHS Directive.

These chips are designed to take account of the restriction of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.

"Having these pioneered designs into touch-screen controller technology puts eGalax ahead of the competition", said Alex Chang, Engineer Manager of eGalax.

"Meanwhile, our RS232 and PS2 controller that comply with the latest RoHS Directive will be coming soon".

"eGalax is proud of its ability to bring a new technology after providing a full range of touch controllers including resistive and capacitive".

"All of our resistive touch controllers -- 4, 5, 6 and 8 wire -- have the same mounted hole positions as well as both a serial communication and universal serial bus (USB) interface to help customers to switch variable technologies of touch sensors".
