‘Hazardous Substances’
An Electronicstalk guide
Start with the news release DAC ideal for process control in oil refineries from Analog Devices, which we summarised at the time by saying "Analog Devices has unveiled a 16-bit digital-to-analogue converter (DAC) with onboard power management circuitry designed for loop-powered smart transmitter applications used in industrial equipment.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Powersolve UPS is ideal for hazardous environments from Powersolve: "Powersolve has launched the WM series of uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) designed for industrial and commercial applications requiring dust and moisture resistance.".
In May 2010, we covered the news from Newport Spectra-Physics - take a look at Amplifiers for tuneable and fixed-wavelength tasks which says: "New Focus, a Newport Corporation brand, has introduced a series of semiconductor tapered amplifiers for high-power tuneable and fixed-wavelength applications.".
Take a look also at the news release from Alps Electric, Waterproof detector switches go automotive, as well as Touch screen integrated at drive-through kiosk from Zytronic, and Boston uses SL-Dolphin fixtures in street lights from Everlight Electronics.
