Acquisition expands scope of EMC consultancy

EMC Solutions has acquired Steatite's EMC division, including its EMI/RFI consultancy and filter manufacturing business and all design and intellectual property.

EMC Solutions has acquired Steatite's EMC division, including its EMI/RFI consultancy and filter manufacturing business and all design and intellectual property.

Formed in 1997 EMC Solutions has grown steadily to become the UK's main privately owned EMC specialists, offering a tailored and bespoke service it reckons is unrivalled by its competitors.

Managing Director Neil Harris comments: "As part of an our ongoing business development program, which saw growth increase by some 35% last year, the acquisition of the Steatite EMC division further enhances our expansion plans, as well as technical and production capabilities".

"2006 and 2007 will be exciting years for EMC Solutions, as well as the Steatite acquisition positive inroads to the USA are being made with trips and exhibitions planned for this year and next".

On the home front 2005 saw EMC Solutions' investment in research and development paying dividends, with major development work being carried out in both the domestic and military marketplace, which on completion will result in major contracts being placed during the next 12 months.
