Expansion brings socket manufacture in-house
Dimensions Consulting has doubled the size of its headquarters in Santa Clara, California to include an in-house manufacturing division for all its test sockets
The first sockets manufactured in the new shop will be available for shipment within 30 days. 'The demand for our sockets has increased to the level where we'd now like to have complete control over manufacturing', stated Zaid Ayoub, President of Dimensions Consulting. 'Our customers expect high quality sockets with rapid delivery'.

'We have customers that need custom sockets as well as Quick Turn sockets, and having control over the capacity, materials and quality will give us the ability to respond immediately with reliable sockets'.
All new equipment will be able to handle the company's future technology needs, CNC drilling, laths, band saws and precision optical inspection and measurement tools.
The facility will accommodate extreme fine pitch for next generation packages.
At full utilisation, the new facility will allow Dimensions Consulting to triple its production volume of sockets.
The company has hired Donald Hayes as Manufacturing Manager of the new division.
Hayes brings over 30 years of experience in direct and related fields.
