Visitors to stand C30 will be invited to witness DEK's HawkEye print verification system in action, being demonstrated live on the Europa platform.
Currently experiencing high levels of demand from DEK's international customer base, HawkEye enables high-speed verification of 100% of printed boards at line beat rate.
The system analyses streamed 2D board images in real time to quickly generate a pass/fail indication, Any faulty board can be immediately isolated before component placement and returned for cleaning and re-printing, thereby minimising scrap.
The Europa machine will also display DEK's Instinctiv user interface, which provides intuitive graphical features and onboard help to streamline new product introduction, facilitate process monitoring and optimisation, and reduce stoppages.
Instinctiv is already in service at numerous customer sites worldwide, and enables faster setup, first time print, lower operator training requirements, and easier error avoidance and recovery.
With the lead-free deadline now only a matter of months away, the DEK stand will also showcase the latest VectorGuard stencil technologies that address the need for superior accuracy in the new lead-free environment.
The VectorGuard Gold electroformed stencils and VectorGuard Silver nickel laser-cut stencils deliver enhanced aperture release and paste volume repeatability, in addition to the ease of use, storage and recyclability advantages of DEK's VectorGuard technology.
Additional stand highlights will include a display of DEK's complete range of consumables, which provides quality process support products for every manufacturing requirement.
