5.6in TFT LCD features 32K colour, typical brightness of 300cd/m2, 320 x 234 dot resolutions and 5V operation
The DPX-114 is the perfect solution for equipment manufacturers in a wide variety of industries from gaming, kiosks and banking terminals to medical equipment and test and measurement. Its novel fanless design, ideally suited to the medical equipment market, allows for greater reliability (lower temperature, smaller power supplies and less fans required) and a simpler overall system design, while still providing high performance with its 1GHz Transmeta CPU.
The low power board features the ATi Radeon range of graphics cores, including the advanced Mobility Radeon 9000 with 64Mbyte of high-speed DDR memory and DirectX 8.1 support, making it capable of independently driving multiple high-resolution 3D displays directly from the board.
The DPX-114 is the latest in Densitronűs ConnectBus range of SBCs which feature a single connector for all I/O and power, making the computer board instantly pluggable and greatly enhancing the ease of integration, simplified cabling and, in the unlikely event of a failure, minimised downtime.
The DPX-114 comes complete with a guaranteed availability lifecycle to ensure that customers are not susceptible to the typical 6-month product cycles of the PC and graphics card industries.

Customers can design and gain approvals for their products with confidence that the DPX-114 will remain available.
The long availability factor also contributes major cost savings by minimising changes likely to be needed in the software over the life of the product and in maintaining and supporting the field population.
Increasingly, embedded computing applications require a high level of security and the DPX-114 offers onboard hardware for functions such as DES (data encryption standard) encryption/decryption, secure key storage and SHA (secure hash algorithm) acceleration to lock down the software to the hardware platform, combat software piracy and safeguard data transactions.
These functions are provided by the industry standard Trusted Platform Module included on the DPX-114 board.
