TFT module is cost-effective upgrade

5.6in TFT LCD features 32K colour, typical brightness of 300cd/m2, 320 x 234 dot resolutions and 5V operation

Measuring a compact 148 x 120 x 19.4mm, the LMR67802 is a 5.6in TFT LCD from Densitron that features 32K colour, typical brightness of 300cd/m2, 320 x 234 dot resolutions and 5V operation. The LMR67802 lets users drive a TFT display from the well known 8051 bus. The 5.6in TFT module is particularly suitable for low- to mid-volume industrial applications and for companies considering an upgrade from monochrome to TFT as the HMI of LMR67802 is compatible with monochrome display controllers.

A touch screen version is also available.

Equipped with a separate on-screen display function (character/text) and graphic interfaces, the LMR67802 allows graphics to be addressed directly from ROM.

The 5.6in TFT display also supports bitmap graphics and is capable of graphic download via RS232.

With these user friendly attributes and a versatile built-in character generator capable of displaying 5 x 8 English, European and Japanese characters, and 16 x 16 English and numeric fonts, the 5.6in TFT allows users to reduce software development time significantly.

In addition, well located mounting holes, and built-in positive voltage and temperature compensation circuits help to optimise the display module's performance under different working conditions.

During product development, Densitron's engineers have overcome the 8051's slow refresh rate issue.

Mastering this technology allows Densitron to produce an innovative product at extremely competitive prices, while ensuring designers will meet their time to market requirements. Request a free brochure from Densitron Display Solutions....
