Electronics manufacturer Quasson has won recognition for its quality systems with the award of ISO9001:2000 accreditation. Quasson, which was recently acquired by Datalink Electronics, went through a series of assessments to achieve the upgraded standard. Ian Wilson, Director of Datalink, said: 'The renewal recognises the systems we have developed to provide a consistently high level of service'.

'It reflects the hard work of Quasson staff over many months'.

The process was overseen by Craig Evans, General Manager, who has monitored the internal changes required to achieve the standard.

Peter Hawkins, the quality assurance representative, has ensured the relevant documentation is in place and is responsible for making sure all procedures are followed.

As part of the process, Jackie Topple and Chris Cockrell have qualified as auditors so they can perform internal audits to maintain standards.
