Dispenser employs three-axis AC servo control and advanced auto-error-correction features, plus easy-to-use, operator-friendly Windows-based software.

A new tabletop robotic dispenser from Gen3 Systems promises high-accuracy automatic dispensing for manufacturers, laboratories and small R and D departments.

"The G3 Series robotic dispenser is supplied by a long established, family-owned, British manufacturer that designed and built the product itself, and customers know they can trust and rely on both before and after they make their purchase", says Gen3 Systems Managing Director, Graham Naisbitt.

"You can guarantee that will be here next year and that we will support you if you run into difficulties or need specialist after sales technical support".

The table-top (Model G3-301) G3 dispenser employs three-axis AC servo control and advanced auto-error-correction features, plus easy-to-use, operator-friendly Windows-based software with full statistical process control (SPC) features.

It can also be programmed to handle a large number of assemblies and dispensing requirements using a single, common x-y work-table measuring 240 x 280mm.

Dispensing resolution is +/-0.01mm to a +/-0.025mm repeatability.

Using state-of-the-art colour CCD sphere scene image position compensation technology, the G3 dispenser can automatically recognise the basic position of workpieces using fiducial alignment mark alignment, and compensate for manual alignment errors, including skew.

The G3 dispenser can be used with any liquid, paste or gel material including adhesives, solder pastes, gasketting compounds and coatings - including all common types of conformal coatings (such as UV curables, epoxies and silicones).

To prevent leakage and tails, the volume of liquid, speed and dispense time are all independently controllable.

Options include a heated work-table, digital dispensing, a servo actuated precision valve and a servo controlled fourth axis.
