It integrates Cypress's market-leading direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) interference immunity technology with the power and flexibility of the PSoC architecture, offering a complete wireless solution in a single chip.
PRoC is designed to implement highly integrated, space-saving, low-cost, wireless systems.
"The PRoC development kit reinforces Cypress's strategy of offering customers complete, high-quality development tools for a quick, painless way to cut the cord on wired products", said Marcus Kramer, Director of Cypress's Human Interface Device (HID) business unit.
"The kit includes all of the resources needed to develop a complete wireless 2.4GHz solution".
The CY3653 PRoC development kit includes all of the following items: a PSoC evaluationboard that provides an easy development platform for wireless solutions; hardware to support in-circuit emulation; PRoC modules for a fast plug-and-play solution; a PRoC programmer for programming individual PRoC parts; an LCD module to display application data to provide quick user feedback; and a CD-ROM with kit documentation, hardware schematics, tutorial and firmware for application development.
The CY3653 PRoC development kit is currently available priced at $350.
