New from Tyco Electronics is the model GB4xxx-LP single-portGigabit Ethernet magnetics module from CoEv Magnetics. At lessthan 2.5mm thick, this ultra-low profile single-channel interfacefor 10/100/1000 Gigabit applications is the first of its kind inthe market. It is designed to help facilitate design of smallermobile devices such as laptop computers, tablet PCs, PCMCIAcards, docking stations and other low-profile Ethernet devices.'The ultra-low profile and compact footprint of theGB4xxx-LP module helps designers drive forward their effortstoward smaller, thinner product designs', said AdrianMikolajczak, Multimedia Market Manager for Tyco Electronics PowerComponents.
