A new front-end power supply allows manufacturers to build medical systems using commercial high-density DC/DC convertors while still meeting medical system safety requirements
Condor has a new series of power supplies designed to allow manufacturers to build systems using conventional, commercial high density DC/DC convertors whilst still meeting medical system safety requirements. The GPFM600 series has been designed to provide the front end AC/DC conversion and will provide the system with the required leakage and isolation to meet such standards as EN60601-1.

The first model is the GPFM600-24, a 600W PSU which produces 24V at 25A with no minimum load requirement.
It is also fully approved to UL2601-1, EN60601-1 and CSA22.2 No 601.1 and meets the emissions and immunity of EN60601-1-2, EN 61000-3-2 and FCC20870 class B.
The unit also has power factor correction to meet EN61000-3-2.
Leakage current for the new model does not exceed 150mA, operating under no fault condition over the full voltage and frequency range.
Standard features for the power supply include AC-power-good signal, overvoltage protection and current limit.
The power supply is available fitted with a cover and fans in an extremely compact 7.62 x 13.97 x 30.48cm.
