CTL Manufacturing achieves AS9100 certification

CTL Manufacturing, a Gloucester-based producer of cable harnessing, box build, panel and cabinet wiring, has successfully completed its Stage 2 Assessment for the AS9100 quality standard.

AS9100 is the international quality management system standard, specific to the Aircraft, Space and Defence (ASandD) industries, and also addresses civil and military aviation requirements.

Aircraft and aerospace industries, including Boeing, Rolls-Royce and Pratt and Whitney now require their suppliers to be certified to AS9100.

Managing director Clifford Friel said: 'Achieving the Aircraft, Space and Defence AS9100 quality standard demonstrates CTL Manufacturing's continued commitment to drive for best practice across the business, including improved customer satisfaction, waste reduction and continuous improvement.

'The AS9100 accreditation will further strengthen CTL Manufacturing's position as an established and trusted supplier to its current customer base while opening up new opportunities within the aerospace and defence sectors,' he added.
