The latest addition to the XtremeESD family of electrostatic discharge protection devices from California Micro Devices offers eight channels of ESD protection that meet +/-15kV contact discharge, and +/-20kV air discharge per the IEC61000-4-2 standard Based on the company's PicoGuard XS architecture, the CM1234 also meets the 100ohm differential impedance matching requirements specified in HDMI 1.3a and DisplayPort digital video standards, making the device ideal for use in digital TVs, LCDs, notebook computers, set top boxes and HD DVD recorders
