Cetecom Spain's BITE RF tester has been validated by the Bluetooth SIG for testing Bluetooth Specification RF 2.0+EDR, 1.2, and 1.1 plus the baseband physical tests in version 2.0+EDR, 1.2, and 1.1

BITE becomes the first test solution validated for Bluetooth 2.0+EDR and will be the basis for qualification of such devices. The BITE RF tester supports the eight RF EDR (enhanced datarate) test cases specified in the TCRL (transmitter and receiver) and additionally, the two BB EDR test cases (TP/PHYS/TRX/BV-06-E EDR guard time and TP/PHYS/TRX/BV-07-E EDR synchronisation sequence and trailer).
Low rate RF test cases have been validated too.
The BITE protocol tester has also undergone validation in BTI and was validated by the Bluetooth SIG for testing 2.0 + EDR, 1.2 and 1.1 of the Baseband Link Manager Specification.
The UK company RFI Global provided efficient external support for the validation activities.
