TTCN-based protocol testers have been developed by Cetecom using the latest Telelogic test development tools (TTCN editors and compilers), providing a smooth integration of official TTCN Bluetooth SIG and ETSI W-CDMA test cases. With this agreement, Cetecom's BITE and MINT protocol testers will incorporate a Telelogic TAU TTCN editor and compiler, thus allowing end users to modify the TTCN test cases and tailor them to their specific development needs.
Joaquin Torrecilla, R and D Director at Cetecom Spain said: "TTCN is the reference notation for conformance protocol testers, and a deep knowledge is required to develop powerful protocol testers.
Telelogic's test tools are helping us to speed up the integration of new TTCN test cases for Bluetooth and W-CDMA.
Our customers will be able to modify existing test cases with the TTCN tools we are adding to BITE and MINT, allowing them to debug their protocol stacks and to create new test cases for custom requirements".
