Development kit gains more Bluetooth
software

The CompactSira development kit from Cambridge Silicon Radio now comes with a sample CD of Rappore's Bluetooth host protocol stack, profiles and My Wirefree Network user interface.

Cambridge Silicon Radio has entered an alliance with Rappore Technologie A sample CD of Rappore's Bluetooth host protocol stack, profiles and My Wirefree Network user interface will be bundled with every CSR CompactSira, CSR's CompactFlash format development kit

The solution provides a low cost development tool for PDA based applications.

The CD also contains information regarding Rappore Technologies and My Wirefree Network software.

Rappore's BQB certified software and innovative My Wirefree Network user interface enables Bluetooth users to transfer documents, business cards, and other objects between supported Pocket PC devices and other Bluetooth-enabled devices.

The software supports multiple Bluetooth profiles including Service Discovery (SDP), File Transfer (FTP), Object Push (OPP), Serial Port (SPP), Headset, LAN, Access (LAP), Dial-Up Networking (DUN), Personal Area Networking (PAN) and PANU ActiveSync.
