Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services (BVCPS), a specialist in product testing, certification, inspection, and approvals management services, is to acquire Germany-based Innova Product Service . Based in Kaufbeuren in Bavaria, Innova Product Service provides testing and certification services for a wide range of consumer and industrial electrical equipment accessing the worldwide market.
The acquisition further strengthens BVCPS' footprint in Germany and provides a strong platform to meet the increasingly diverse and global requirements of European manufacturers, retailers and importers.
Oliver Butler, Vice President, Electrical Business Line at BVCPS, says: 'The acquisition of Innova Product Service helps confirm our position as a leading provider of technical market-access services to European electrical equipment retailers, manufacturers and importers'.
