On the morning of 15th March 2007, a study tour from ETH Zurich Switzerland visited the Guangzhou Branch of SGS. The group, comprising two professors and 32 students, was visiting multinational corporations in China, such as SGS, to get to know their management, organisational structures and operation situations etc.
During the visit, the staff made a general introduction of SGS as well as its development in China, and allowed the group to visit various product test laboratories.
During the visits the students showed strong interest in product test methods and instruments considering it a great opportunity to be able to visit an authoritative testing organisation like SGS and have access to relevant testing domains.
SGS also showed a strong interest in such an event, considering it a promising beginning for further co-operation and exchanges with colleges and universities in Switzerland.
It was also a chance to promote SGS among the experts and engineers of tomorrow. Request free introductory details about products from SGS....
