System 1000 PCB cleaner installed by Intercole
A Blundell Production Equipment product story
Edited by the Electronicstalk editorial team Jul 23, 2009
Intercole Sub-Contract Services has installed a Blundell System 1000 bench-mounted printed circuit board (PCB) cleaning machine.
Mark Bowen, managing director at Intercole, selected the System 1000 because of its compact design and its ability to clean flux residues from PCBs after they have been soldered.
The machine will clean off rosin-based or low-residue fluxes, water-soluble flux, solder paste and general contamination.
It holds up to 48 eurocard-sized PCBs.
The cleaning cycle takes one hour and the resulting cleanliness exceeds MIL-STD-2000, Blundell said.
