The SVH Series of low-cost high-efficiency DC/DC convertors redefines the price/performance index for half-brick power supplies by offering up to 30A current output at very low prices

The new SVH Series of low-cost, high-efficiency half-brick size DC/DC convertors from BTCPower redefines the price/performance index for this class of power supply by offering up to 30A current output at very low prices, often up to 40-50% lower than competitive solutions. With a wide input voltage range of 36-75V, the new units are available with output voltages of 1.5, 1.8, 2.5, 3.3, 5 or 12V.

All models feature an input filter, input undervoltage lockout, output overvoltage and overtemperature protection, output current limiting and short-circuit protection.

The SVH Series uses BTCPower's patented flat matrix transformer technology to achieve a high power density in a compact package with a low profile of only 0.4in.

An open-frame construction with heat spreaders ensures low-temperature operation.

Output regulation is typically +/-1%, and ripple and noise are less than 100mV at 20MHz.

The units have a 100V input transient capability of 100ms.

Other features include an on/off pin with remote sensing, output adjustment of +/-10%, and a mean time between failures of 1.5Mh at 50C.

The SVH Series meets the basic insulation requirements of EN60950 and the conducted interference limits of FCC Class B and IEC 61204-3 Class B with external filter.

They are UL60950 recognised and meet the requirements of TUV EN60950 and CSA C22.2 No 60950.
