Binder-USA has announced an upgrade of its series 820 7/8in industrial connectors, which are ideally suited for industrial network applications.

The design improvement features a die-cast threaded locking nut with a SW24 hexagon outer contour for better tightening of mating connectors.

The previous aluminium locking nut is replaced with a nickel-plated die-cast zinc locking nut.

Each nut has an anti-vibration feature to ensure the connectors stay in mated condition when properly fastened.

All series 820 field-attachable male and female connectors include the new locking nut.

Available features of the upgraded connectors are straight and right-angle versions that will accept cable diameters between 6-14mm.

All of Binder-USA's 7/8in connectors, cordsets and receptacles are available with 2+PE, 4 or 4+PE gold-plated contacts.

An installation wrench is available for simple and proper tightening of the locking nut to its mating connector.
