TTPCom is to port ART's smARTspeak XG speech recognition technology onto its popular GPRS platform. The announcement renews the companies' joint commitment to provide GSM manufacturers worldwide with the most sophisticated phones available. Simply by adding smARTspeak XG to any TTPCom based handset, OEMs improve ease of use without any hardware change, and with no extra integration effort.

The innovative smARTspeak XG is the first embedded, phoneme-based speaker independent name dialing solution designed for mass-market wireless mobile device deployment.
