Skyworks chose Acoustic's SoundClear technology to enable full-duplex speakerphone performance along with flexibility and easy tuning for the myriad of handsets that will use Skyworks' Edge system solution.

The full-duplex operation provides rich, clear, enhanced sound with no clipping or distortion.

The SoundClear processing optimises speech intelligibility with full-duplex control that adaptively monitors, detects and processes incoming voice, echo and noise signal power levels.

With the Rapid tuning tool, handset vendors can quickly and easily tune their products for optimal audio performance adjusting for the varying mechanical and acoustical properties of the handset.

The SoundClear algorithms cancel annoying echo and apply sophisticated noise cancellation techniques to optimise speech intelligibility in diverse environments - from noisy background conditions to normal office environments.

The SoundClear acoustic echo cancellation and full duplex control enables a natural bi-directional speakerphone conversation.

Key performance features of Acoustic's SoundClear voice processing software include: up to 65dB of acoustic echo cancellation and up to 18dB of noise cancellation.

Additional sound enhancement features are integrated for optimising sound quality such as the 10-band graphic equalisers and spectrally matched comfort noise.
