ANT joins Alcatel-led programme
Alcatel has signed up ANT as the first partner to its Open Media Developer Programme
As part of the programme, ANT has integrated the Open Media Client (OMC) software components with its Fresco browser. The OMC, an embedded software reference client for set-top-boxes, and the Alcatel Open Media Developer Programme enables set-top box vendors to rely on a reference client structure to further enhance the development of their products.

ANT is the preferred set-top box browser for Alcatel's Open Media Suite, which is deployed in more IPTV networks than any other middleware solution.
Now, set-top box companies can work with ANT, in combination with OMC and the ANT Fresco browser, as a one-stop shop for Alcatel's OMS integration and certification.
This further speeds up the ability of set-top box companies to benefit from the ever-growing OMC-enabled set-top box market driven by operators' continued selection of Alcatel's middleware.
