The MT8820B/MT8815B with MTS offers manufacturers of W-CDMA/HSDPA and GSM/GPRS/EGPRS mobile phones a cost-effective and highly efficient solution to conduct RF adjustments and RF Tx/Rx parametric tests on the production line. MTS is a special combination of hardware and software that runs on the MT8820B/MT8815B analysers.
Full adjustments of mobile phone RF Rx/Tx levels and complete RF Tx/Rx parametric tests of W-CDMA/HSDPA and GSM/GPRS/EGPRS mobile phones can be made with the MT8820B/MT8815B, when the instruments are equipped with MTS.
The solution also allows manufacturers to evaluate audio performance of W-CDMA/GSM mobile devices.
The basic instrument configuration offers RF adjustments and RF Tx/Rx parametric tests in the test mode.

Covering a frequency range of 30MHz to 2.7GHz, the MT8820B/MT8815B are measuring instruments that conduct basic Tx and Rx measurements of W-CDMA/HSDPA, GSM/GPRS/EGPRS and CDMA2000 1X/1xEV-DO systems.
The MTS complements the MT8820B's unique parallelphone measurement capability, making the MT8820B an excellent test solution for production lines.
The parallelphone measurement option allows two different mobile terminals to be connected and tested simultaneously with a single MT8820B.
This functionality significantly improves manufacturing efficiency by reducing production costs (return on investment and energy saving) and space.
The MT8815B is a compact, high-accuracy, high-speed tester for single RF measurements made at the manufacturing, repair, and maintenance stages.
It is the ideal solution for service points (sales offices) and repair centres when used in combination with the MT8510B service tester.
